Continuing my Vintage Japanese Brands Collection with Orient, I have based it on my taste for Vintage Divers. In the 60s it started with the Swimmer ( not Diver yet ) and I choose this Orient Weekly Auto Swimmer 21 jewels for its WABI SABI Two Tone looks and the "swimmer" blue print on the dial.
This time with the Vintage Orient Calendar Auto Swimmer. Compared to the Weekly Auto Swimmer ( 40m ), this one has a screw down crown therefore a better water resistance of 100m in blue print on the dial.
Back to Vintage Orient with the Top of the Line, Orient Grand Prix Triostat 100 jewels. Citizen / Orient / Ricoh in the competition of who will have the most Jewels. This is already a preview of my next collection after Orient which is Ricoh.
Coming to the BIG BOYS with the famous Orient King Diver 21 Jewels ( No KD ) and the 1942 movement. Mine is a quite rare configuration with a Non Fluted Bezel and a Brown Inner Ring on its original Snake Bracelet.
Jumping into the 70s with an other generation of Orient King Diver. This time the "King Diver" as been replaced by "KD" due to diving regulation. More colorful with a Rainbow bezel. Movement ref. 46941 inside.
Not easy to find a vintage Orient World Diver with the 1942 movement in mint condition. This one is all original in good condition. Aside with the Orient King Diver with the same movement.
I have been away from JDM watches for a while since I went back to the Vintage Swiss Watches. Then I had the opportunity to get two rare watches from friend collectors. The first one is this Orient Freshman King Diver. This scar face engraved M-MIYAZAKI on the back has some caracter to it.
