The SEARS Tradition Diver was designed & manufactured by SICURA. It features a rotating bezel with unique color block enamel markers. The bezel may be locked in place by turning the bottom crown.

Numbers have been cleverly incorporated into its design: 12, 6 & 9 o'clock are magnified on the dial, military 24-hours are marked on a raised trim, while standard 12-hours & minutes are marked on the bezel.

SICURA built a strong alliance with BREITLING when SICURA CEO, Ernest Schneider took over & redeemed BREITLING from its near dissolution in 1979!

Schneider's game changer was the introducion of 3 new models: the BREITLING Jupiter, Mars & Pluto chronographs - all designed under SICURA specifications. After this success, Schneider decided that the SICURA brand has more potential when fitted into the inner workings of BREITLING than by itself!
