Frequent lurker here. Been searching for this but couldn't find a direct answer. It appears that the newer 300t case is identical to the old 1200t case. I have a Caribbean 1200t that I adore and bought many years ago. Never been a huge fan of the un-tapered bracelet so I've been mostly wearing on Natos or tropic rubber straps. Now I see these integrated rubber straps for the 300t. Would they fit flush with the 1200t case? While I quite like the look on the tropic, having the integrated rubber straps would fit the look nicely if they do indeed work. Anyone try it?
Yes indeed, below picture of my 1200t on a 300t rubber strap I purchased directly from Doxa back in November '20. Go ahead and get the 300t rubber strap for your 1200t w confidence.
I love the thicker bezel teeth on the 1200 vs the new 300T with its thinner teeth.
Also that combo looks great. I was curious what that dial color would look like with the black fitted strap. I'd love to see more pics if you are willing. Either here or maybe in the aquamarine thread if that la more appropriate.
This is where a sterile Aliexpress version for $18 shipped would be extremely useful. Unfortunately, I don't think that Doxa sells enough of these, in volume, to warrant a replica.
Thank you all for your thoughtful replies and the pics. I'm convinced to pick up that black OEM 300t rubber strap! With my Caribbean 1200t, I don't think the color match looks the best so I'm thinking of going to basic black.
Helpful information, thanks guys. I‘ve recently re-aquired a 1200T after selling my first one to fund a 300 Black Lung. I missed the thicker case of the 1200T/ 300T - but there’s definitely room for both in the same collection 😉
I have a 1200 BOR with all the links that I would trade for an unsized black rubber with clasp.
