After doing a review of both individually, I thought it might me insteresting to pit them against each other. Some might find the comparison ridiculous, but I think Seiko held up pretty well.

Nice Video! Interesting to see the comparison. In the end it’s all in the eye of the beholder and what personal preference is. If I was wealthy beyond measure and had money laying around I would be a watch addict including high end and low priced watches.

Thanks for making this nice video. I don't think there is anything wrong with comparing a Rolex and Seiko 5. I have a black bay 58 and an skx013, and I would have a hard time picking one over the other if I had to. I find it interesting that they can have both major differences and also strong similarities.

I have a Seiko 5 and also a Rolex Explorer 2. Most obvious difference that I have noticed is that you can hear the internals when you move the Seiko 5 which is the automatic winding mechanism. The Rolex with equal movement is almost silent.
