Hello everyone!! Im from Argentina I want to show you a gif that is taking the attention of my RANGEMAN

Orient Touchtron 1975
In 1971 the Orient Touchtron was the first watch in the world with technology "TOUCH" of light emitting diode (LED). It is believed that its design was inspired by the helmet of the great robot that appears in the film "The day the earth stopped" of 1951
The breakthrough was developed between Orient and Sharp, inaugurating the "TOUCH" era
This came to compete with the "Pulsar" of Hamilton 1970, first watch with LED technology but not Touch.
The watch uses the human body as a driver, so as we see in the video (below) when playing with another part of the body, the upper part of the circuit closes as a "switch" showing the time with one touch and two touches to see the date (only the day, not the month). The LED turns off after a few seconds due to its high consumption.

If anyone has more information about this watch I would appreciate it, I would like to find a manual!

Wow let me be the first to say awesome watch. Really cool technology for the 70’s. You can see why the Rangeman is taking a back seat for now. Thank you for sharing. Have a great week.
