I was looking at an Orvis catalog at a friend's house a few weeks ago and noticed that one of their watches had a different description for illumination. It was something like "perpetual, self-generating illumination".

I just checked a different Orvis catalog now and couldn't find the watch. Just one with tritium tubes, and another with illuminating markers.

Has anyone heard about a new type of illumination? Thanks.

I know one thing: Nothing is perpetual.

Seiko5 lookalike (rofl)

Nice strap though! Any aftermarket source for those?
