I bought a second hand g-shock some time ago, and the previous owner packaged it with this plastic box that I haven't seen before.
I am wondering if this is a common box for g-shock in a specific era, or areas?
these are known as the "haru" cans/tins. I'm not sure when these were released, but This was the packaging I believe before the bronze circular tins (that have now been replaced by the black and sometime silver hexagon shaped tins) I think these tins came out at some point in the '90's, until idk when actually...I think the watches that came in these cases also came w/ a cleaning cloth.
Just curious, but what watch did you buy that came in this tin?
Thanks for your very informative reply.
I don't remember which watch exactly because it was some time ago and I bought quite a few in one go.
I remember asking the previous owner about it and learned that he had no idea either, which is why I thought someone here might be able to help me find out.
