Most of my diving has been done with my Sea Dweller on the original metal bracelet. Not a lot...50+ dives, almost all warm water dives.

Now that I have been enlightened by this forum and has more divers that I could ever use (1 or 2 dives every few years) and even more straps, bands etc....who knows.

Now I would take three diferent watches...are we sick or what?

Depends on the watch. If I dive my Sea-Dweller, I dive it with the bracelet. If I'm diving the IWC, I change from the bracelet to the rubber strap because the bracelet doesn't have an extension clasp.
