Just a quick note to say thank you Steve & Aquadive for helping me obtain a refund on the Aquadive mesh bracelet that did not fit my 7" wrist. Much appreciated.

Regards,

Chris

If you truly get past the few naysayers, and I repeat few, you always get top notch service from Steve and staff at AD.

Thanks as well for the update!

Nope. Not removed. You have to remember, these mods are unpaid positions (for the most part). This is a sponsored forum by Aquadive, so maybe Steve is an employee (???).
As an active Aquadive mod, I can confirm that Steve was NOT removed as a mod but instead, he willingly chose to remove himself as he is employed by Aquadive.

Being that this is an Official Brand Sponsored Forum, he felt it was the righteous thing to do.

Remember there is an exciting spin to gossip as truth is far less interesting.

Hope this clears things up.

Well he was their PR guy here and a mod. And the other Mod's before said he is no longer a Mod on this forum. So then I am to assume he was removed.
Dude: you are saying "removed" as in "fired". Maybe (just maybe) he has other things that he is "Paid" to do? The mod's here are not paid positions.

Steve is alive and well at Aquadive and has done a great job with respect to providing follow up on a variety of things on behalf of his customers (including me).

I am not sure why you are providing such negativity to the thread.

Monitoring these discussion forums takes a lot of time, and most of this time is after hours when most members here post. But do you think Steve, having a full time job with AQUADIVE, is also going to monitor these forums too?

My bad for saying he was fired, I was wrong there it seems.

And I know Mods aren't paid but he was a Mod/PR guy for AD at the same time. Nothing wrong with that he was just a multi-tasker.

What I was asking is if he was the one in the same as previous Mod on this forum. Since I didn't realized he had stayed with AD.

So relax their buddy and cool your jets.
Both very relaxed @toxicavenger. No worries. We just wanted to pass along righteous info. Hope your day is well.

Seemed like an innocent question to me.

Steve is alive and well at Aquadive.......
Also didn't see where his mortality was questioned.:)

On a side note, any photos of the BS100 on the AquaDIVE bracelet yet?

Nice looking watches, are these watches manufactured by the same company as Doxa?

MSA6712: Aquadive, Doxa and ISOfrane are 3 different companies that only share a common distributor. The owners of Aquadive are German while others are Swiss. Doxa actually sees Aquadive as a viable competitor in the dive watch genre. Hope this helps!

This defintely belongs over here > a Tribute to 'Steve'... from a thread that I started over on the DF.
Good Company isn't the correct definition, Aquadive is one of the most Professional Companies that I've dealt with period. You would of thought I was the only Customer that they had, they were timely, accurate, and as compassionate through this whole ordeal. A person at Aquadive dove into my issue like she was in overdrive, she promised me this will be cleared up and you'll have your watch delivered tomorrow.
Now guess what is on my wrist as I'm typing, a piece of art called an Aquadive BS100 SS, just an amazing thing to look at. I'll take some pic's when I get home, Orange Isofrane & Mesh should look killer on this machine. What I see here is, that the 'Bar' has been raised.
P.S. this Isofrane is spot on comfortable, great strap.

Below is what you get when dealing with a Top Notch Company that actually cares.....

From Steve Hughes
Hi James,

I just logged in and saw your Live Chat session from earlier
today. I'm assuming the Watch Worksheet reached FedEx okay. If not, I have
included it in this email. We're sorry for the inconvenience. We send 5 copies
of the watch worksheet with each package we ship, and the FedEx hub in Austria
is supposed to scan one copy to put into their system. They don't always do it
though.

So as the package is in transit to the US, or at times sitting in
Memphis in their huge sorting center, FedEx in Memphis (their world HQ) has one
of their Import Agents call the customer looking for the Watch Worksheet to
pre-clear the package, so there are minimal delivery and Customs delays. If the
FedEx employees in Austria had scanned the worksheet like they are supposed to,
this wouldn't happen.

So that is what caused the problem. It doesn't
happen all the time, but sometimes it does. It just depends on the FedEx
workers. FedEx does this as a courtesy though, they could just let the package
sit in their sorting center in Memphis for days, and not take the initiative to
get it to the customer as fast as possible. As neither they, or Aquadive, have
any control over US Customs issues or delays. So when this happens, we email a
copy of the watch worksheet to the Import Agent in Memphis so he will clear the
package through Customs and get it to the customer as quickly as possible.

Any NEW watch being shipped via FedEx to the USA from overseas, by any
brand, can have this happen to them. When you receive the watch, you will see
the copies of the watch worksheet in the pouch attached to the package. Let us
know if we can be of any further assistance. We hope you enjoy the
watch!

Best Regards,
