Well it has been to Canvey Island and it has the Thames Mud to prove it ;))

It's unique all right but I don't think that I will be putting a bid in for it. Not that I'm too poor to even think about it or anything like that.

I hope a museum gets that and it doesn't sit in some guy's bedroom, or worse yet get worn.

Extremely cool and at a very reasonable price. I too hope it ends up in a museum rather than next to some poser watches in someones private collection.

A very nice vintage watch but if I had the money and was lucky enough to win the auction the first thing I would do is take it to a jeweler and have all that residue removed, the case polished and the plexi replaced. Really who wants to wear someone else's moon and re-entry residue on your wrist? :-d
