Yes, "Limited Editions" are one of the dumbest things a watch company could do. Look at Doxa - they have reached the "Limit" of their Limited Editions, running themselves right out of business because they cannot keep selling popular pieces - they were limited. Short sighted, unlike Rolex which keeps on with successful models for decades, and it has rewarded them.

As far as I know, DOXA is still in business...

And as for Rolex, they might as well be limited editions as it is near impossible to to actually purchase the sports models!
