Hi everyone I am a noob to watches so please excuse my lack of knowledge and lingo. After receiving 2 Breitling watches over the past few years as gifts (from my boss at work), I have developed an interest in watches so you'll be seeing me a lot more, which will hopefully be fortunate for this forum lol. I used to think wth do people have a thing for overpriced watches, but now that I own one, I get it and joined the club.

I decided to keep my newest gift, a Bentley Mark VI (yeah I made a lot of money for my boss that year) and am looking to sell my Chronoliner as I don't work for that boss anymore. It was purchased from an authorized dealer in 2019 and serviced later that year by Breitling in to replace a cracked bezel along with the required full service maintenance, and can be verified by the dealer over the phone. I have the box and all original documents and the watch is near mint condition. After many lowball local offers, I'm looking to sell online.

I have an offer coming from watchbox.com. I am also considering listing on Chrono24 and getting an offer from bobswatches.com. Ebay is out of the picture as I got screwed by them royally for $2000 when i sold something authentic and the buyer returned a counterfeit item back to me, and ebay sided with the buyer although i had definitive proof and documentation to prove my item was authentic and a different counterfeit item was returned to me. And i had 100% positive feedback as a seller on 100+ items over 15 years and the buyer was brand new and had zero feedback.

Do you recommend or not recommend any of the 3 mentioned sites above? Any better website/place/method to sell my watch?

Make sure you know if there are any selling fees attached so there are no surprises when it comes to the final sale.

Each of the vendors you mentioned have good reputations.

I would avoid eBay like the plague.........

Thanks for the info! Hopefully one of them will offer me at least Xk, which is my rock bottom. I feel like Chrono24 would fetch the best price with only a Y% commission, but who knows how long it'll take and it might not sell at all. I would love post it here for sale, but i'm a long way from 100 posts to be eligible.

Does anyone know in general the markup % sites like bobs and watchbox look for when buying? They both have similiar listings for sale around Zk, so i'm hoping they only markup less than double so i can hit my X target.
