Looking for very basic tools to change straps, remove links, and maybe open cases.

International watchman looks to have reasonable prices, is there anywhere else I should look?

Tried our search function ? You are not the first to ask.....

Being there is no watch tool or accessory specific forum, searching was somewhat cumbersome. Some results I found recommended International Watchman. I was mostly looking for validation before I order, or a specific recommendation of comparable quality/price to the tools offered by that specific retailer.

I'll think twice before posting any more questions.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, without them our forum would be a lot smaller than it is :)

I was running into the same problem as you and ended up getting a Bergeon (sp?) lug bar tool from PMWF that ended up being almost half the price of the same tool available in Canada. My attempts to find one locally ended with watchmakers refusing to help out and simply offered to change my straps for me, for a fee. I'm sure paying $10 everytime I wanna change one of my many straps is really the best idea

Ebay would also be a good source for other odds and ends as well. Try to stick with quality name parts though, as I've seen some super cheaply made lug bar tools and I have yet to have a problem with my Bergeon tool and I use it a ton!
