I have a 14ct solid gold Bulova Accutron 214
The case and dial are in good condition but the movement is not working no battery
It has an unusual shaped case I think it is called Alpha the dial is a normal type
The year code is MO
The case will scrap for about £375
With the movement repaired if it needs it.What could it be worth?
I imagine it would be a close call.
I would appreciate your comments

We don't do valuations here but if it's not working scrap value is about what I'd expect.

Does it say "Gold filled", or something else?
'cause "gold filled" doesn't mean its filled with gold...
It's true that many of these watches were gold filled, but they also made solid 14k and some rare solid 18k. Even platinum...
If you can't get the watch "fixed" you could probably find a lower cost donor watch and take it's movement...I'd consult with a watchmaker on this
process and cost.
