Airport was bought from one German classified ads site for EUR 180 plus shipping. I would say that 90% of all watches I have are coming from eBay. The main source is ebay.de, then ebay.com and ebay.co.uk. The rest is coming from local auction sites in Ukraine, Russia and Poland, some classified ads sites in Germany and Italy, plus rare purchases from online shops. WUS sales forum is almost useless for me because most of the sellers there are from mythical CONUS-land, which is isolated from the rest of planet Earth.

This watch came in original package and in very good condition. The seller was from city Krefeld. Airport was created 1993 in Krefeld too and he sent me even an article scan from old local newspaper introducing the Airport watch.

The idea to design 24h Airport came from Hans Greyn and the production was organized by Horst Wegwert from Switzerland. The actual designer of this watch was Hanno Burtscher - he worked many years at IWC and designed watches like Da Vinci perpetual calendar-chronograph.

On the back of watch box is written "Hergestellt in Schaffhausen" (Made in Schaffhausen). Schaffhausen is a well-known watchmaker city in Switzerland (only 35,000 inhabitants). IWC is located in Schaffhausen. Another watchmaker in Schaffhausen is H.Moser & Cie. Seller wrote that this watch was produced by Swatch. Probably has Swatch also some factory in Schaffhausen.
Airport was made as limited numbered edition of 90 pieces. The list price back in 1993 was 498 German Marks. It's a lot for a quartz watch. Inflation calculator shows that today it would be about EUR 350.
This watch looks classy and stylish. You can feel the presence of top designer. In real life it's much better than on the photos. Everything is here as it should be up to the original shark skin strap. The diameter is only 36 mm, but Airport is wearing much bigger thanks to the oversized lugs. The watch is thin, as a dress watch should be.
The most original part is the diametral hour hand, where one end points to AM and opposite end to PM. If you can't understand what time is 21 then another end is pointing to 9. Of course is the dial very legible (even with this original hour hand), the length of hands is right, fonts are readable etc. etc. Nothing is lumed, it's a dress watch.
Movement has texts "FEBA SWISS MADE 2W" and "FIVE JEWELS" and on the edge is stamped logo FE. That means it is a FE (France Ebauches) movement. Under battery I finally found the movement model number - 10030 A. Another number below battery is 813, I don't know what's this. I like these older type quartz movements where you can see a lot of mechanics too - gears, levels, etc.
I got Airport number 43 (out of 90). On the passport is written, that this watch was sold in December 21, 1993, in Krefeld. Perhaps a Christmas present?
Summary
My Airport is a very nice watch in almost perfect condition. For me the most outstanding feature is that it is a real 24h dress watch. Most of the 24h watches tend to be (and with a reason) flieger, military or field watches.
Another very nice, stylish and classy 24h German watch is Botta. Both, Airport and Botta are top designer products and highly recommended. To buy a Botta is an easy job, they are still in production. Airport - according to seller this watch was sold only in Krefeld, Germany - is very hard to find.
