I bet you seen a handful of these posts lately. Well, I went ahead and regulated my Milsub.

Originally, Dial up was +25 sec but now I got it right on the dot. I can't tell how much I'm off since it is exactly running in sync with time.gov. As far as I can tell, it may be +/- 1 sec but will need a timing machine to get a better reading.

Anyway, it was running +15 crown up and I didn't regulate that position. I'd like to wear it for a week and see how it's cumulative reading is and maybe I'll regulate then.

Also, since I was wearing my Seiko all this time, I noticed that in more that 2 weeks, it has gained about a minute. It's amazing.

Great results! The Sea Gull movements are well loved for their accuracy. I have also had much pleasure regulating my own watches. Enjoy!

Super! Regarding 'regulating for different positions': I think that's called 'adjusting' and involves fiddling with the inner workings of balance bearings, shape of hairspring, that kind of stuff.
You should regulate for your usual wear pattern.

Alright, it turned out that the watch was actually losing 2 seconds a day. I didn't see that until a few days later. So after much fiddling, it has now gained 5 seconds over 5 days :). Excellent, now I don't have to reset the time every week and worry about messing up the screw-down crown.

I haven't checked how much it gained per position but overall daily usage is 1sec/day.
