Good morning:)

I just thought I'd quickly show my latest ebay aquisition from this morning. The seller came back with an offer price when I asked the question. His description said he'd installed a new battery but now the light doesn't work so I'm hoping it might just need an AC Reset to sort it, although I wouldn't think the light has anything to do with a reset?

Anyhow, maybe it's something simple.

So for £25 and free shipping here are the seller's photos, DW-9500M-8T:

Looks in very good condition, I've seen silver G's with paint missing or worn off before but this seems to be pretty much unmarked from the photos.

Cheers!

That's a handsome G. I've never seen it before, is it a vintage model? Looks reminiscent of a Gulfman.

Sort of vintage, 1999 according to G Shock WIKI:

That is a beautiful watch, one I've never seen before. For some reason, G-Shocks really look good in silver. This model is kind of like a cross between a 2300 and a 8900, but nicer than either. Great catch!
