Well, I seem to be managing to get hold of G's to work on at the moment. I got hold of these two from the 'bay yesterday.

The 6900 is an MF-1ER, missing the light button as you can see, but I decided to go for it hoping that Casio UK can come up trumps on that score. I got it for a Best Offer of £15.

The 7710 is a C-2DR, I think they're fairly rare in this colourway, I definitely haven't seen many of this model. Hopefully it's a simple fix, the seller has basically said that after a battery change the buttons don't work. I spy a re-seating of the module coming up. The only other thing I noticed in the photos is the top right backplate screw is sitting up a bit, but the watch is working so it obviously hasn't been under water. I won this on bids at £17!

So as I normally do with new purchase threads, here are some seller pics:

Bought a 7710 off eBay yesterday, the easy, cheap positive screen version to use inside new yellow bezel and band I saw cheap also on eBay.

The 7710 arrived today, in brilliant shape and complete with box & manual, not bad for £17!!

Some before shots:

At the moment only the light button works

I have no clue why this screw is not tightened down

As I thought, the contact "blades" are sitting above the button stems

Module reseated and all working as I expected!
