This is the watch. The case has a lot of wear, but with a new cyrstal i think it will look great.

Paid $44.00, i think (hope) the movement and the strap, that i dig, was worth it.

Hmmmmm. Well, the bracelet is quite funky and can be used on another watch. On that particular one, I'd say it really doesn't fit style wise. However, each to their own taste. As for the watch, the case is not in the best state and the movement is equipped to have a central seconds hand. Since your watch apparently lacks that (unless it is hiding above the minute hand), it was either eliminated by the maker or has fallen/broken off. In view of all that as well as the fact that the movement is common enough, I would say that you could get a watch like that for less. However the bracelet may justify the price.

Thanks Hartman. It was the bracelet that won me.
I didnt notice the lack of second hand, still so much to learn.

The watch itself will be a future project watch to learn and tamper with.

Has anyone tried diy silver electroplating on a case?

And how do you think the bracelet would look on the 1950s Movado bumper watch?
