If I should give in and order an Antea with date on the Milanese bracelet, do I have a choice of which finish for the bracelet (matte or polished)? Is there a place in the ordering procedure where I can specify that? Thanks. --redstart

The mesh bracelets are available in
16mm matt / polished
18mm matt (e.g. Flieger 36mm) / polished
20 mm matt (e.g. Flieger 40mm) / polished (e.g. Antea, Marine)

Did this answer your question properly ? (I hope so ;-) ).

Mike, well that's half of the problem. Sure, you get the choice of size and finish when you order the bracelet separately. But one of the Antea ordering options is to get it supplied with bracelet right off the bat, at a small savings, but I see no option for specifying the finish. So I wondered what the default finish was, and whether one could specify the other finish when ordering the watch. --redstart

I see, well - I assume that the mesh bracelet will be polished if you order the Antea with mesh bracelet using the online shop drop down menu because the Antea case is polished.
No clue how the combo polish / matt will look like
The last advice (as always): Mail Jörg and you´ll know.:-!

Mike, you're right, or course: that's the best approach. And I'll do that. But you have no idea how difficult it is for a Lutheran to say, "May I please have ...." Silly here, since that's one of the reasons it's so great to order a Stowa in the first place -- you can always ask! But at the age of 59, when I order from a restaurant and the waiter asks what kind of cheese I want on my hamburger, my reflex is still always to reply, "Oh, whichever you're most eager to get rid of." --redstart

Dear redstart,

sorry for late reply.
But like Mike told you: The Antea case is polished and i choose the polished strap for this case.
it´s better looking that a matt finish bracelett.

best regards

Jörg

Thank you, Jörg. I agree: that is the best choice. --redstart
