Hello,

I am wondering if there are any Europeans who have ordered watches from Jomshop and what their experience has been. Also regarding shipping costs and how much you were charged for custom's fee. The watch I am intending to get would be a watch for a little less than 6K, so I am wondering how much it would cost me all in all to ship it from there to here (Switzerland).

Thanks!

I have not used Jomashop but I have used Ashfords. VAT payable at your local rate ( ? 8%) then small handling charge to shipper for collection of tax may be payable.
Make sure your deal includes the cost of shipping. Have a look at this link:- https://www.ch.ch/en/ordering-goods-abroad/
I can understand why you want to import a watch, I have been to Switzerland many times but I have never seen a good deal on watches despite your low tax rates.

Oh no,I would want to buy it in Switzerland, however the specific watch is not in the catalogue anymore and they can't get ahold of it here anymore. I do not want to buy online, but feel I don't have any other option anymore. The specific watch was actually much cheaper in Switzerland than the price it went for in the US (at AD). It's an Omega. Thanks for the link, will check it out.

Yes have used . No probs at all. VAT on import, no customs.

You might benefit from using a shipping forwarder as those sometimes use methods that fly under the radar where taxes are concerned although I dont mean SUI, have no idea about rules there and how it works. By shipping forwarder I mean companies like Shipito.
