I'm pretty sure Baby-G best fits the bill, but I would like to be sure. Niece's birthday is coming up. I think it's about time she gets a watch. I think she likes pink.

Thanks. Good set of options there. However, this leads to another question. Are G-shock Minis smaller than the Baby-G line, thus making it more suitable for children?

BabyG's are smaller, and the modules have some neat stuff that
my daughter (7 yrs when she got her first BG) likes a lot.
Day countdown timer is one of them - she sets it to her birthday
(or last school day before summer holiday) and waits :)

Some other features:
-The seconds digits are "Dancing" (every 10 sec I think)
-Data memory with important phone numbers
- The alarm is a tune, not just beeps
etc.

Here is a comparo with a 5200 and a wrist shot:
(Actually it's a little smaller than it looks here)

The Clubs are even smaller if you can find one.

I've just posted lots of pics about a friend's Baby-G in this thread, if you're interested.

It's also available in a more pink version.
