Hi all,

My first post. I'm looking for an affordable watch (say $500-$1000) that looks like this Dondane (which is about $5k new). Ideally automatic, steel or mesh strap, new or used. Any ideas would be gratefully received...

It isn't a perfect match by any stretch, but you might take a look at the Hamilton Khaki Navy GMT, model H7761513. It has a similar overall design aesthetic. It's discontinued but you could probably find it used, and a few online shops are still selling it at $600-800.

Some of Hamilton's Khaki chronographs might strike your fancy, as well. I suspect the price for an auto chrono will be pretty steep, though....
