It appears your watch is from about 1985. Most of the information
about this watch is associated with the case number which you will
find stamped inside the case back.

I think you will get better information on the Omega forum. I will move
your post there.

Thanks,

Add a photo of the inside of the case back, using a macro lens so all writing is legible. Based on the serial number, the watch was produced in 1984.

I can't make out the model number on the caseback. There is too much glare. Use a loupe to provide the seven digit ref. number. Alternatively, you can research the Omega vintage website yourself:

I 've tried to do it many times ( with "(*), (0), or (.)" )for half a year. Result is always the same:

No result for "796.0871" o|

That's why I'm asking here...:)

Thank you for patience,

Regards:-!

This is all of the models with a "796" prefix, which you get with a 796.* search string:

The "SEE DETAILS" links only take you back to the main vintage database page. But do a search with that wildcard string and check each model. If you don't see a match, then you've hit a dead end. Sorry.

Did a bit of research and it appears to possibly be a ETA 256.111 derivative, which means its probably an Omega 1426 movement.
