I have one on the way. I just wanted to see if I'm an orphan or are there other owners.

I have had a fascination for a ToG for a long time, especially two tone ones.

There is one currently in a Sydney dealers window. My wife says she will leave me if I buy another watch, so there is a bonus to buying it as well.....

You're not an orphan and there are other owners. You just have to accept that this and other on line Rolex forums don't share a lot of enthusiasm for anything outside of the loose definitions of 'sport watch'.

Post your picture when it arrives. Gracefully accept the smattering of 'ooooooh's and ahhhhhhhhh's'. Wear it with pride. Use the time elapse bezel to measure a parking meter or two or to time a soft boiled egg. Think about changing the dial. And then, expect your prideful post to sink to the bottom of the list and disappear under the weight of someone else who just acquired a new Sub or GMT. It doesn't diminish in any way your new acquisition. This is just reality on a Rolex forum.
