after 4 some years of IG watch posting, I'm starting to think about getting slightly more serious about the photos I take. I'm not quite ready to invest in a camera or anything (that's watch money), but have thought about picking up a light box, working on composition, etc.

Anyway, for those who "settle" for their phone cameras from time to time, do you use the OEM photo app on your phone? Did you download another app?

I've got an iPhone 7 and mainly use the default camera app. I've downloaded ProCam and am considering paying for "Stay Focused" which purports to do photo stacking. Any other suggestions, feedback, etc. on apps?

Thanks!

Ever tried or heard of (Adobe) Lightroom CC? It’s a simple but powerful app for JPG edits. I used it all the time for my IG posts. It’s quite detail oriented and MAYBE too much for watch images. Still, it’s super easy to use... and I use it to make minor adjustments for family portraits taken on my Fuji cameras.

There’s Snapseed from Google which I have but don’t really use because it’s a pain to use if you want to edit multiple photos (too many taps).

Those are the two big apps as far as I know. Both are free.

Personally I quite like Snapseed. It’s easy to save presets “looks” so you can use them quickly time and again. For example I’ve set up a bright white look for when I want brilliant, almost saturated watch photos.
