Hi folks

Looking for a nice, dressy vintage piece with aviation routes and the Polerouter has had my interest for a while ( I had decided to replace two of my watches with an IWC Mark XV to wear as my potential one and only, but have now decided that it will be cheaper to keep my Fortis and get an 'under the radar' vintage pilot piece for occasional dress wear! ). Anyway - love the look and story of the Polerouter and am happy at the thought of wearing a more modest sized watch, especially for dress, but would still like to see some wrist shots if there are any out there to see what I can expect in reality. 34.5 mm is much smaller than any watch I have owned since being quite young.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hello from germany,

there are serveral different polerouter with different calibers.
My brother has a rare polerouter with cal. 72.
I only have a little photo.
The case of this poelrouter measures 35mm and the wrist of my brother has about 19cm:

I know that this is mad out of date, but any excuse to talk about UG is a good one!

Although 34.5mm sounds very small by today's standard, the long sweeping lugs give the watch a bigger feel than you'd expect. I've got a slightly more than 7' wrist, and this is how it sits on me:
