I am looking to remove my chronomat bezel to get some sand and grit cleaned out.
Any tips on doing this?
Are the screws just for show or do they actually hold the bezel on?
I have done this on other watches, I just want to hear from experience on the breitlings.
thanks

Yup.. just unscrew the screws (completely) and the bezel should come off
there's a spring in the bezel that makes it 'click' , dont loose that :)
