I was in a local watch repair shop that has started making its own watches (Robert Loomes). They have a model that has a beautiful copper plated case, black dial and an automatic movement. I tried it on and it really had a wow factor. The only problem was the price.

Does anyone know of any other copper watches that are of the affordable variety?

I believe "rose gold" (a gold and copper alloy of some sort) is the traditional way of getting that look without the need for polishing.

Agreed , but the one in the OP is specifically described as copper plate (sounds like he asked the maker?) , and looks like copper?. (i.e. it doesn't look like rose gold)

There's a subtle colour difference between 'copper' copper and rose gold

Pure copper would have serious oxidization issues. I think a copper dial would be cool, but even that would have to be sealed or an alloy. Pure copper turns green very quickly.
