If yes, can we get a nice comparative review with lots of pics?

There seem to be a growing "base" of 1500 owners but very few pics were ever posted. I'm especally interested in side by side pic comparation between two models.

Speaking of, shoud it be kinda supprising that 1500 is getting so little love round here? Is it just a fact that most forum members got 1300 and see no need to upgrade or is this just a case of everyone holding for new RISEMAN?

I kinda wonder a bit here, will 1500 suffer a same fate as 1400? Very few got it and it was discountined shorty after release even thou it was a tide bit smaller than 1300.

Curious what the forum members think of the subject...

I'm reffering to PAW-1300 and PAW-1500 of course...

The 1400 was not discontinued. It was issued as a limited edition. I preferred the 1400 skin over the 1300 skin and got it. The limited edition status is a bonus (to me). I will probably get the 1500 when the titanium band version becomes available in the US (Jun, I believe). I will probably get the coming RiseMan as well. :-d

I'd like to see more of em. Although I think you may be right, if you own one then maybe you won't be so keen to buy another so similar and such an expense.

I have the PRG-80T and love it but it was the reason I never got a 1300 as well. I am tempted by the 1500 but only when the titanium band version comes out but then it will be way to pricey.

duke4c, Im gettin' my PAW-1300 within the next week GOD Willing, I'm away from home now, I saw The PAW1500-1Vmodel and by the way the price is very very close to the PAW-1300, But I'm going with the PAW-1300, Actually it looks better than the 1500 (my own opinion) and very elegant, large numbers, and the list goes on, The 1500 model is the first one that use the features of the Pathfinder & Sea-Pathfinder, Heres our dear friend Faith And Grace showing his PAW1500-1V https://www.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=149423

And heres our dear brother Doug giving you the ultimate review about PAW1300G
(Watch it in high quality)

Now i guess you can tell what exactly you want, Good luck :)

I didn't realize until now that rasin version is actually green not black... nice pics... usure how I missed the thread that you're pointing to but hey, no biggie...

Finger is quite itchy on this model as one of my fav on line places just got this in stock... might snatch one next week... we'll see..

P.S.

I used to have 1300 on titanium... but as the story goes titanium and me did not agree very well so I flipped the watch... what a regretful decision that was... (yea, dumb... o well...) ... Now I want it back but I got stuck into 1500 vs 1300 dillema. Knowing myself I'll just snatch 1500 and get it over with... LOL (WARNING : IMPULSE PURCHASE PENDING... ;) )

Lock yourself in a darkened room with no internet access immediately.... on second thought, bugger it! Every time I've stopped myself making an impulse purchase I've either missed it later on or bought it anyway!

AAAA yes... but there is a question of size here as well... PAG-80 that I used to have got flipped because it was way to big for me (many have called it monster around here even thou it was mighty comfortable to wear) ... now let's see...

PAG80 62.3 x 52.2 x 14.2mm
PAW1500 56.2 x 50.6 x 13.9mm
PAW1300 56.9 x 47.4 x 11.5mm

1300 was really at the acceptable limit of my wrist of 7"... now 1500 does not seem all that bigger at all... but does it wear as big or bigger? FATE and GRACE has 8" wrist and lets face it, 1500 does not look big on his wrist at all... hence my desire to see side by side pic before I pull the trigger... my fear is that 1500 might be to big for anyone with 7" wrist or smaller... problem is in buttons, because of buttons watch might wear a lot bigger than it really is...

Just out of interest, why did it not agree with you? Were you allergic to it, or did it just scratch too easily?

It was not very comfortable for me... but my biggest issue was scratches due to the fact that I'm notoriously hard on my watches add to that that I'm a desk diver and it's not to hard to imagine that watch looks "old and scratched" after a week or two...

And yes, that titanium band? That band was biggest PITA (pain in the A...) to adjust... not only were pins WAY to hard to get out but they also had those anoying small parts taht love do disappear on you never to be found again...

For thease reasons I tend to go "raisin or bust"...

Speaking of, the bracelet that "holds it's own" better than any other braclet I ever had is one on GW-M5600BC... no scratches on bracelet at all yet... (except on a buckle... that part has lost a LOT of black paint despite a little rubber protection that it has on a buckle...)

You make it sound like you had a small wrist!

but at 7" its fairly average and not small, I have a 7.1" (18CM) wrist and consider it to be the ideal size for watch wearing. Its not to big so this means that you can wear normal sized watches without it looking too small and you can also wear big watches without a problem. Also when it comes to wristbands there always seem to be an ideal hole that will fit at this size. So I consider 7" to be just right!

I could wear a PAG-80 without it feeling to big.

The issue might be width not circumference . Some wrists are more round and therefor less wide, this might explain why you think it looks to big on you. Perhaps your wrist is less wide then mine but instead have more thickness. my wrist is rather slim height wise. My left wrist is 62mm wide and since the profile of the PAG-80 is rounded it should mean that it will fit just fine!

The new PAW-1500 is abit smaller then PAG-80 its only 14mm thick compared to PAG-80's 17mm and its 6mm less from cuff to cuff as well as 1.5mm less wide.

I prefer the 1300 over the 1500. The main reason why I bought a Pathfinder is because I wanted the large, beautiful display. The 1500's display is just too cluttered for my taste. The digits are smaller and don't have the seconds below the hours and minutes (just something different that I like about the 1300).

However, I wish my 1300 had 200m water resist. I wouldn't object to having moon and tide data as long as they were on a different screen, but I wouldn't want to see it all the time like on the 1500.

I agree. The 1300 is aesthetically more pleasing.
