I hope everybody had an enjoyable and peaceful christmas? santasmile
I wish every member of WUS / GWF all the best for the coming year.

I am currently planning to make myself a late christmas present. As some bothered readers of these threads will allready know, I am looking for an outdoor watch, that I can use for e.g. sailing. My inquiries brought me to Archimede. Unfortunately, the popular Flieger serie is only 50m water resistent, which will be not sufficient for water sports. But the Outdoor Sport does fit in this characteristic:

German: http://www.archimede-uhren.de/DE/Uhren/8235-a11.htm
English: http://www.archimede-uhren.de/EN/Watches/8235-a11.htm

The ones, that read my occasional posts will know, that this watch also complies to my paranoia about watches beeing to large/thick... ( I know, I am complicated o|).

Searching the forum history just showed me a post, where Mike (who else?) compared the Archimede Outdoor to the Aristo Dakar and (if I understood him correctly) recommended the Archimede to be preferrable to the Aristo?

Does anybody has comments or even better experiences with the Archimede Outdoor? It does not really fit in a stereotype like Diver, Military or Pilot, but I personally like the design and the price of 295,-€ is too good to be true, if the watch is any good.

Thanks for your feedback.

Hello?
Just to be sure, that there is really nobody out there, who knows this watch?
This would be hard for me to believe, since there are so many 'Flieger' owners in this forum, that I tought, one or two might have an idea about the 'outdoor sport'?

Thanks as usual for any kind of feedback.
