Ive been looking at this G-Shock

GD 400-2ER
http://www.amazon.co.uk/400-2ER-Casio-G-Shock-Digital-Quartz/dp/B00M9ZDIJY

Does anyone know if it would be hard to keep clean due to the light colour?

Ie I imagine I might be be better to get a black watch as every little scratch/dirty mak/stain might show up on the watch in the link above (or other coloured g-shocks)

Thanks

So many links that I'm not even going to paste any of them here: https://www.google.com/search?q=site:forums.watchuseek.com/f17+clean&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

Yes, light colored (and especially white) G-Shocks are harder to keep "clean" since they show dirt, scratches, dye they absorb from clothing (especially dark denim), and everything else. (Black G's probably pick up the same things but don't show them as much or sometimes not even at all.)

On the other hand, non-black G's DO look cool, and those other threads are full of ways to clean them!

If you want a low-maintenance G-Shock, it's probably best to go with a black or dark-colored one. If you want one that really stands out because of the color and don't mind cleaning it (or having it look a little grungy after a while) go with a lighter color.

If you click my link in my sig you will see I mainly own colored G's
Also pretty much all matte finishes
I do not have any problems keeping them clean. Then again I am not using them to do yard work or
work on cars etc. But normal daily use + swimming etc

I travel a lot on motorbikes with jacket sleeves , wearing blue jeans etc & have not experienced any marks

As to the Mr. Clean eraser yes although I have not used it myself I have read others use it to clean off scuffs
