In the UK I am seeing some huge drops in the prices of used Daytonas. There not my bag but to me they used to be the one that never lost a penny?

Anyone else seeing that?

I am also seeing lots of money off other used Rolex models now, more than say 6 months ago so don't know about the end of this recession lik

I have seen hits all across the board for the modern sports watches...

And in this economy it makes perfect sense.

My thoughts exactly..;-)
+1|> nice watch sure, but always overpriced, over-hyped and bought by fashion victims

The SS model cost more than the TT and would sell at double retail with a 4 yr waiting list:roll: Come on, whoever waited 4 yrs to pay double money needs our pity

I prefered the Zenith Rainbow EP which could be had about 5yrs ago for about 25% of market price Daytona and was, to my mind, superior.

I think the issue with the Daytona now in the UK is:

1. Everyone is wearing the plastic version of the watch.
2. The real ones are being worn on the wrists of trashy celebs.
3. Bankers (the people that this watch largely appealed to) are toning down ostentatious signs of wealth lest the public attack them.
