Ok, I've had this watch running for 4 days now and its just +1 sec.. I have only gained 1 second in 4 days with a watch that costs 1/10 of my Omega PO.. My Omega does +1 per day..A simple Aristo 2824-2 gets the job done.

One of my fave brands, and THAT model that you have, CCCP, is one that I love but got away.
I never could remember why the numbers were written backwards - something about needing to see it through a mirror during bomb tests?

Indeed, Aristo watches are quite accurate.... mine keeps good time within cosc -4/+6 specification even after 5 years since I bought it. ETA 2824 is a great workhorse movement!!!

Thanks!
Indeed it was inspired from a German WWII naviagation watch, maybe used for photographic reconnaissance or designed to work with some mirror based instrument... Aristo named it "Sextant". It's also mentioned on Knirim's website homepage
