Which AP did you move? Assuming you purchased the Rolex at retail...

 

I closed the deal at several G’s under retail. 2019 full kit LNIB. Traded in my RO 15400 Steel / black dial.

As much as I enjoyed the RO, the price did sting for a SS watch and admittedly, I slightly regretted going with the black instead of the blue dial. Nevertheless, I’m glad I experienced it.

Excuse the bad pic, Talk about BALLER! this pimptastic platinum DDII was considered for all of 10 seconds. It’s one of those pieces that looks incredible everywhere except on my wrist. At 1st glance, it easily passes as a DJ. Talk about stealthy. If only it had a fluted bezel 🤤

APs are seriously overrated.

 

Imo, I wouldn’t say overrated. The watch is exquisite. Amazing attention to detail inside and out. I’d say it’s a bit too refined to be deemed a true sport watch (only 50m. WR)
I considered it more of a sporty dress watch.

Is the 15400 the RO where the date isn’t pushed all the way out to the edge of the dial? Almost like the movement was too small for the case?
