title shouldn't say automatic, sorry, its a seamaster polaris from 1987 396.1022. Can anyone authenticate this watch to the best of their ability? i believe it to be 100% genuine because of the crisp pictures the seller offered and the solid construction of the watch. it has beautiful movement and crisp lettering and the luminosity even still works for a 1987 seamaster polaris. and when i change the date/time the second hand doesnt move and i was informed that this is a good indicator of an expensive watch. the only problem i have is that the watch has been serviced and it seems that someone changed the date from rolling down to a new number to rolling up to a new number, which apparantly isn't consistent with omega watches. the apparant 18k solid gold bezel contains deep scratches which also would show SS if it was cheap plated like a replica. let me know what u think thanks!Omega Men's Seamaster Polaris 18K Solid Gold Bezel Inlay 396 1022 | eBay
