Hey guys, sorry to do this to you but I need your help. Just spotted this on a second hand site and the price is to good to be true so before I make a fool out of myself can you guys take a look...
The problems I have are
1. The price
2. The date wheel colour
3. Lume on the dial
I'm not into oris so I haven't got a clue but if it is legit it's a fantastic deal.

For an Oris of that vintage, the second hand length should extend to reach the small second markers. This is not the case in your photo. Also, I believe the underlined logo only came on the dial that did not have the date complication at 6 o'clock. And the date complication background should be black, not white as in your photo. I say fakery!

fake.
look at the 12'clock marker on the bezel - its to big

42mm version: Divers Sixty-Five
the 42 mm version has date on 3 o'clock
This looks like dial printing from a 42mm version, but the date is in the wrong position.

the 40 mm version has date on 6 o'clock and the date wheel is black
the 40mm version does not have the line under Oris and the word Automatic
the index on 6'clock below the date window is way to big
the date window is not alligned or properly cut.
the crown looks wrong in shape
there is no tubus to screw in the crow

HARD PASS !

If you are in Australia you can checkout Salera, if you have store nearby. You might be able to get a better deal then sale price.
