Yeah I do....it's broken...no just kidding. I was under the impression that autoEL only worked in the dark so maybe there's a little too much light for it to work.

I would have fun with stockae's thread, but for my money it's the ambient light.
Cup the watch and try again.

When I got my g-2310, I was worried the battery was discharging too soon. I thought I had bought one of the dud tough solar watches. Then I realised that it was the autoEl being left on. Since I turned it off the battery level hasn't dropped off full;-) . We all have to learn someway. :-! So again, you welcome.|>

ususally once i have them charged to full

i will leave the auto EL on

if i see that the charge is dropping off, then i will turn the auto EL off and charge it up again :)
