Any particular style of watch you like? Diver, chrono, field, dress? That would help with suggestions
Is there any particular style you like? Field watches, divers, dress watches, etc.?

Seiko plays very well in this arena. $300 is also spitting distance from some from Hamilton and Tissot.
I was looking for something like a Audemars piguet or Hublot

I have a Question to ask, I am currently looking for an automatic watch under 300 Dollar. Any suggestions ?
Why would you not start at google, find what you like./might like, research those watches then come back here with an actual idea of both what is available and what you like, under, of course, $300.
Just seems the logical approach

google searched: automatic watch under $300

Like others, you can’t go wrong with Seiko for that kind of money. Orient makes a nice dress watch around that much.

right but my point was to look at watches, see what attracts your eye, do some research on a number of them, maybe narrow it down to two or three (or a few more) and then bring in to the hive. Otherwise people with just toss out their own choices, some won't see or abide by your $ limit and suggest $5K watches.

There are a lot of $300ish watches out there, everyone here has a preference but you are the one who will buy it and wear it so it really behooves you to sort out what you like and don't like about the various brands, or styles and then ask for opinions.

It is easier and you will get far better responses if you ask about specific brands and specific models that you find interesting (and affordable, again some people just don't pay attention and read entire OP)

My first automatic was an Orient Mako that still runs fine after 10 years, I'd recommend them to anyone as a good value way to start off. The new Seiko 5 Sports line should be a good bet too, I'm particularly digging the bezel-less version since these aren't true dive watches anymore. Both can be had for 150-300

This will take you down a rabbit hole... I bought a Seiko 5 a month ago, then a Zelos Blacktip a week ago.... now with all the Christmas and New Year sales, I'm looking at more.

I'm with you. I bought the PVD "DressKX" (SRPE69K1) then the PVD Seiko 5 diver (SRPD79), then for Xmas I went ahead and said fuggit. bought a Ch.Ward for 1k. It's a quick evolution.

Orient Mako II is my most accurate under $300 watch with a -1 second a day. Worn it in all manners of hard labor activities - using power tools to hammering sheet metal or chopping wood with an axe and still keeps time. Frankly I’m amazed.

However if you’re looking at a “one watch for all occasions” you could check out Tissot’s PR100 line. Not entirely inspiring but equally as accurate. I forget I have one sometimes but it translates well in both formal and casual settings.

I love Seikos and have a ton of them but for the under $300 budget, they are somewhat overpriced to be honest. The good ones are north of $500.
