I received an Aquaracer Chronograph as a gift about 5 months ago (first automatic watch). For awhile, it was incredibly accurate, gaining about 1 to 2 seconds per day. In the last few weeks, however, it has started to gain speed...it is now probably ~15 seconds fast per day.

Anyone know what can cause this? What I can do to remedy?

Thanks.

Have you spent much time in a high altitude orbit? that could explain the time gain in relation to the earths surface.

There are a lot of demagetizers on Ebay and watch supply places. Actually having a good watchmaker do it should not be that expensive. To test for this is worth the money. My demagetizer is home made from an old Weller solder gun. Good luck.
