Hi all,
I purchased this watch new for between $6200 and $6500. It's a purchase I wish I had not made. I like the watch but find it nearly impossible to read the time! I contacted B&R to see if they could make the indices a more contrasting color..a service which I informed them I would happily pay for. They laughed in my electronic face and refused to even entertain the idea! So..while I'll keep the watch, I will most likely not buy another B&R though there are several I would like.

This is a nice conversation piece for sure! I thought the 'laughing skull' feature was neat.

Monochrome did a great writeup but in the end I thought this was targeted towards pirates and we all know Capt. Jack Sparrow has no need to tell time while he is on a deserted island!

Thanks for all the replies folks. Yeah..I probably was being unreasonable to expect B&R to change their design for me! Anyway.....I still do like a lot of their other offerings. The older I get the less I see well, so these days tend to go for watches with large numbered dials. And I don't much care for Roman Numerals either...but that's just a personal preference. This style...though I know it's not a luxury watch.

Very true on the less well I see part with age. I am starting to have issues viewing the small date on the BR03

Like another poster suggested there are watch makers and models all over the world who do great work and would be willing to add lume to whatever areas you wanted it.
