I think it's supposed to be a kind of case protection, like a bumper on a car. Totally unnecessary, just design overkill.I wonder what the function of the bar on the case side at 9:00 is for other than collecting dirt? IMO there are many other more proven watches out there for that kind of money than going with an unknown entity.
I wasn't really considering buying one, for $300 I can buy a pretty nice Seiko, Citizen etc. Just posting as a matter of interest.I think you can do much better for the money. Stick with a proven micro brand like Artego, Boschett, Ocean7 etc and you'll be much happier.
