just came back from Basel.
The weather was bad, the hostess were ok, Rolex was as arrogant as normal, plenty of watches (of curse it´s a watch fair) and the Sinn people were helpful and nice as usual.
Will post some more pics later.
-U models with new metal strap, veeeery heavy,SEL, bigger bolts (pic #6), looks really great but just 316L
- new 142
regards oyster B-)

Re: Basel: Pictures from new Sinns

Thanks Marcus. I'm glad you had a good time. A monstrous thank you goes out to ya for those great pics. I really like the metal bracelet for the U's. Somehow, that's exactly how I figured they would look. The bracelet is classic Sinn. The 316L doesn't bother me much as my U2 is not a piece of jewellery. It's a constant companion. That bracelet will do fine.

This bracelet rocks, when I called Sinn Sales yesterday, they explained very unenthusiastic that it was only steel. But this looks fantastic and is solid, just what you need with a U watch.

It´s really a " tank-cain" , very solid and the price is a bargain! :p

Question

Thanks for the nice pics.

How is the diving extension on these steel bracelets ? Like other Sinn steel bracelets ?

I'm glad they put new type of screws !

No, the extension is different ! :-!
More solid.
The price was something around 130 or 150 €, I don´t remember

Hi,

thanks for the nice pics. In my opinion, the U-bracelet matches.

...SEL...
Solid end links are only a horological sensation at Rolex. No need to mention that on a Sinn ;-)

Re: Basel: Pictures from new Sinns

Is it me or do the end links in that pic of the U Series bracelet look hollow?O|

If they are hollow then that kills it for me, every hollow end link braclet I have had from EZM1 to Breitling SOP rattled and looked cheap.

Please Sinn, make sure they are solid end links!

Regards,
Alphonse

Don´t worry,
they are much better than the EZM 1 ones. But don´t forget the price, it´s really cheap !!! for such a good quality.
And please don´t forget even the Rolex´s SEL are still hollow inside !
So for this price there is nothing to argue.

for all U2 LOVERs:

The German Germanischer Loyd has tested and certyfied the U2 Sinn in Frankfurt to resist 1h of 2000 m and 2500 m for 15 min.

Sorry,
I am very selective and I am just on fire for the 142 and U models. So I didn´t pay much attention on the regulator. But I do have a pic. Here it is ....
(don´t get me wrong it´s agreat watch but not my type)

The Sinn Regulator in Silver is a sweet watch. Love the 44mm size. Now, I'm going to the want to spend more $'s on German watches. :-D Thanks for sharing Oyster! :-!

Re: Basel: Pictures from new Sinns

Great pics, Oyster - thanks.

New bracelet is no surprise - typical Sinn look. I like the allen head screws. Nice price on it. Folded end links are a little disappointing, which it appears to have. The UX still has my favorite dial of these.

The Regulateur isn't really my style either, but a great looking watch.
