TCM press release:

The Milan is a watch created to celebrate the famous Lombardy capital. At the center of the Po Valley, Milan has been for many centuries the center of gravity of the peninsula, thus, a natural crossroad for the trading of goods coming from the Mediterranean and directed to the continent. It stands out in history as a thriving industrial center and is known for its creative drive, becoming the capital of design, style and elegance. The Milan is a watch that tells the story of the city and its citizens sober and elegant style, with dials graphic inspired by iconic and historical city places: the Duomo, the Stazione Centrale and piazza San Babila.

Milano San Babila is our first watch measuring 38mm in diameter created for men but also shaped to be worn by women as well. Starting from postwar period and decades after, piazza San Babila in Milan is the place of cultural revolutions. Our San Babila pays an explicit tribute to glamorous and hedonistic 80s, the so-called “Milano da bere” years.

The dial of this model is a symbolic green. Green of hope, abundance, but also the color of gambling tables. Our intention is to highlight the hazardous attitude of our ideal urban hero, ready to face the challenges of his entrepreneurial path and personal growth.
