I have a watch with a Miyota 2415 movement. I changed the battery and now the watch stops intermittintly. I went to set the time and when I loosened the screw down crown it started. It has done this three or four times in 48 hrs. It keeps near perfect time when running. Did I miss a restart procedure or is the movement bad? I found the movement for less than 10 bucks, I just don't think I can do it myself. Thanks for any help.

It sounds like the battery contact(s) might be srung a little, try taking the battery out, lightly bend in the contact(s), then re-install the battery, or you have the wrong battery in there.
Is it the exact same type of battery?

Also clean the contacts while you are in there. And confirm that you are using the battery for that movement. Not a copy of whatever was in there previously.
