I lost my last G-Shock because I rigged a cheap velcro band to fit it. I can't wear the resin bands because they break me out.

I love the G-shock Tough Solar Wave ceptor watches.I remember a year or so ago reading that some solar models had battery problems so I need to know the best one to get so I can use the Maratac band.I would like one with a stainless back.Other functions aren't as important.

I might not even be able to wear the Resin band adapters so any other options would be appreciated.I looked at one model with a stainless bracelet but it used resin links next to the case anyway.

Any help for a clueless noob appreciated

GW-M5600-1ER and GW-6900-1ER both work with the adaptors, I've had both in the past. I can't comment on any others as I haven't tried any others. :)

I, too, go for the GWM5600 on a 24mm Zulu. Here's mine on one of MWR's
"red-stripe" Zulus. Very comfy in any weather....

Somebody has fitted a Riseman with these adaptators (search the forum ;-) so I think that all screw type lugs of 16mm width can accomodate these adaptators with, maybe, additionnal soft drilling of the holes of the adaptator ?

N.B. : Gulfman & Riseman straps are swappable !

GW-9200 will take some mods for the strap adapters to fit.

Will a Pathfinder do? I have a PAW-1300 on a Maratac. It still has one of the most feature packed modules that has been made.
