I've ordered many straps from Ali, but usually they were just OK. I'd love to hear about more straps/bracelets that people thought were fantastic for the price

Every now and then good straps are discussed in the AliX thread. But I thought it would be very useful to compile them in its own thread. I'll start off with some usual suspects, and can update along the way.

**METAL BRACELETS**
I've yet to hear someone rave about a bracelet they got off Ali.
HENGRC seems to have some decent ones for ~$13.

Was mainly curious about leather and bracelets, but if people have some particularly good NATOs, Rubber, Nylon, or even clasps etc, share em!

I asked and they said shorter ones will come. Didnt mention a timeline though

The clasp came recommened in combo with the PAIKI artem clone. Havent received these yes so no verdict out yet

Recommendations for a quality brown leather strap for a Flieger Type A?

The Wocci Full Grain Leather Straps have gotten great reviews from other members in this thread, but I do not have any personal experience with them.


I've been very happy with my Maikes watch straps. This one has a cool effect where the strap lightens when it is flexed, and is available in two different shades of brown.

Yep, I’m guilty of singing the praises of both of those straps. The Maikes eventually start to feel a little weak around the most often used hole (perhaps not ’weak’, just ‘more pliable’), and the springbar channels have stretched a bit so they’re a bit of a floppy fit, still real like them though! I’ve got the red, light and dark brown, a well as couple of their spare buckles, great hardware!

Anybody got some other good strap recommendations? I’m currently browsing for a 20mm rubber and/or tanned leather with cross stitch

ive been searching for straps longer than the standard 125\75.
Found one, but no experience with this one.
if someone else need longer sizes.

I’m considering a jubilee for my SARB017, I’ve just switched it back onto the bracelet (a cheap one I’ve had forever) and a few times out of the corner of my eye it’s given me the ‘DateJust Jubilee sparkle’, so I’d love to put it on one for the vintage bracelet vibe.

I’ve got a couple in my cart, but not convinced, anyone got any tried & true recommendations? Is there anything with a 20->16 taper out there?

Sopa, thanks for your work with the sail cloth straps.

I noticed those only come in black.

Have any recommendations for blue ones?

I found the same strap with a brushed SS buckle for $13 inc. delivery.

Went for the light brown option so hoping it's a good match.

I can recommend those straps too - really comfy and durable.

Zuludiver charges 3x the price for the same strap...

These are nice Milanese mesh bracelets. Vintage, cheap, easy to regulate and very comfortable. And I think they look very good.

Received the PAIKI artem clone. Never handled an Artem but at this price it feels like a steal. Bit stiff but that will likely improve over time. Attached a clasp from the store below (style A, 18mm). Not sure I will wear it on this clasp long term. A bit rattly and bulky but not bad for the money I guess

The straps feel real quality though

I measure 18mm at the buckle and 17.7 at the other end

Thats on the 20mm version

The term you're looking for here is "pull-up" leather, or leather with a "pull-up" effect - though admittedly not on aliexpress, where it doesn't have a chance of surviving translation to/from Chinese

side note: these thick milanese are not ok for small wrists, they do not articulate enough. personal experience

I got a jubilee for my NTH sub which I believe has the same lug dimensions.
