My RMALTI MM200 finally arrived today complete with its custom Squid logo!

It's a very nice watch for the price and no issues. Everything seems to line up and custom dial printing is excellent, especially given the crappy picture I sent them!

Only had it a few hours, but some initial observations:
  • The dial colour is interesting: more of a teal blue/green under artificial lights than the stock images, but in sunlight it's more vibrant blue.
  • Bezel design is more engineer than the Seiko MM200. I like that there are a few bits where it's not a straight copy of the design.
  • Good bracelet with solid end links, screw links and a milled clasp. The no logo version of the watch has a plain clasp as well, so no 'RMALTI DESIGN' engraving (but you still get a signed crown with the 'R' logo).
  • From the stock images, it looked like the entire case was brushed, but it actually has polished sides except the middle edge.
  • came in a nice padded leatherette carry case (with the usual spring bar tool but no screw driver for the bracelet links)

Nice! How did you provide the logo, just as a bitmap or something? And did you had to specify the dimensions, where exactly on dial be printed, color etc? Planning to add a Rmalti mm200 to the collection with own custom logo/text. Thnx

I don’t think I could actually use this, but I don’t mind the looks of this:

I also do not know if I would get it, but it is something out of the ordinary for Chinese watch makers. Probably homaging some other watch.
First time to come across the brand.
They also have a number of Jacob and Co clomage watches. First time again to see homages and not fakes. Funny that for some time setting is impossible and has to be done by them (!!!).
Not my cup of tea, but still very interesting to see.

Serica Homage review is up for those interested...my longest one yet as there's lots to talk about.
also, apparently my case side finishing is pretty bad compared to others with the same watch. proof us reviewers don't get hand picked watches...lol
Handsome watch but I can't believe the bezel misalignment. Sheesh!
For $250+ I guess I can wait a bit longer - maybe they will come down some during a sale.
If I get it, I will mos def have to re-attach the bezel insert. I ain't puttin' up wit dat jive, yo.

But that PD blue chrono tho !!
I saw it the other day, and promptly put it in my Watch Basket.
It's only $95 or som'm.

I have been pretending like I don't remember that I saw it before, but there it was, on you wrist, looking FINE, dammit.
Might have to get that first.

Did ya do a review of that PD yet?

San Martin from the recent clearance. I was torn between this and the orange skx with the steel insert but opted for this as this is apparently their original design. So if you think the dial and hands look Seiko-MM-familiar or the case has some resemblace to baby ploprof or the insert is superocean kinda thing you are obviously wrong. The watch is nice, good proportions, high quality case finishing, good bracelet and clasp, crazy lume. My only complaint is the crystal. I’m not a fan of single dome (veeery low profile in this case) and there is absolutely no AR coating which makes the dial look greyish. Otherwise well spent 170 USD.

I'm tempted to ask for my bezel insert to NOT be attached when they send it so I can get it aligned perfectly (or only blame myself if it's not) :)

as for the PD, I reviewed the non-chrono version of it. the case and bracelet are identical to the chrono (obviously minus the pushers)
but the PD is #2 in line right now I think. Probably next week if all goes as planned. happy to answer any questions though. but overall, its good. I like it more than the Automatic. the dial pops better, the hands are nicer, the pushers make the case look better IMO. I've seen it in the high$70 range though during sales, so if you can be patient (not sure the next sale though) you can save a decent chunk

Can somebody explain me the logic behind Choice offers? There couple of nice watches there but when I want to buy it, I can't because the price is above 135£. I tried EU address and its the same story but the limit is 150€. The problem is that this is the only delivery available so what is the point to offer a watch that can't be purchased?

Could they honor your request?
Would it not go to seller already attached at the factory?

Unless you are buying factory-direct.
it probably depends on the store. but I imagine some stores just have the parts and install the bezel per the sale.
I had this done with a bliger back in the day, it was no issue to ship it unattached.

worth asking I guess
