Best of Ali-Xpress?

Hey guys,

So I have been reading up and I know a lot of you guys are sourcing Ali-Xpress for cheap/affordable watches, either homage watches or just something out of the ordinary but with an OK building quality.

I have been looking around on Express but I really don't know where to start looking just because of the sheer amount of watches they offer.

So, please share with us your best founds or purchases on Express so we know where to start looking for a nice, very affordable watch on Express.
Everything is allowed, quartz, mechanical, analog, digital you name it. It just has to be a good watch for an average WUS'er.

Looking forward to your treasure finds!!

Cheers!

And yet 130 people (or more) didn't get bothered by the fking fakery below....I get it that most of the crap we buy sports as much originality as Photoshop allows, but this is going too far. I reported the store but not holding my breath.

Came out to 42$ after 4/20$ and a 5$ coupon plus some coins.

Hi ddru, did you receive your Spech & Söhne BR clone or not yet? Your impressions are welcome if you have! :)
Hey mougino, sorry for the late follow up. I did receive the BR clone, overall impressions are great. It does wear truer to the measurements vs the Aquanaut clone . I would say the Aquanut clone wears closer to a 38-39mm (both are listed at 42mm including crown on the Alie product page). Finishing is great for the price point, and the clasp for the rubber strap is impressive! My negs are the crystal doesn't appear to have much or any AR coating, and I have a weird issue with the chrono. I will start it and it seems to stop randomly. I have not contacted Specht about this yet, and I am doing some test runs while in my watch case to make sure I'm not accidentally activating the pusher (I wear my watched on my right hand). I can't give a wear report of the bracelet as it is already getting warm here so it will stay on rubber for the summer. Finishing looks decent though. All in all, if you're thinking about grabbing the BR05 clone I would say go for it!

Whatever I’m getting, it was $107.48 😄 & I was asked if I wanted the bezel insert lume or not lume. I went lumed. Least they’re pleasantly communicative
Do an “I got the call” thread.

Anyone ever seeing anything resembling a tah Heuer link homage?

I'll give you this link to the link homage, but only if you don't tell the folks over in the Tag Heuer subforum that I had it bookmarked.

If you get it, make sure you post a review!

I pulled the trigger on this Seestern. Now I wait…and contemplate strap options - this has 19mm lugs. Any suggestions? The included leather strap looks decent, but any nato that comes in 19mm?

I did convince myself out of a couple of others…

This is one I’ve been considering which comes in 19mm.

This watch is awesome, build quality is great, can't find any QC issue. My only concern is that it ticks quite loud, reminds me of one Manual Wind Parnis I've got. It's not a problem for me as it ticks nicely but I just hope that everything is fine with the mechanism as Seiko NH35 is a lot quieter. But overall, phenomenal value for 65$!

Yeah this stuff bums me out. I’m all for unoriginal designs that mimic neat watches but that anyone within 6 feet can see is signed by another brand you’ve never heard of (or no brand at all) indicating that below tue surface it is NOT the real deal. The straight up counterfeit stuff with an actual stolen logo / branding is so uncool. I hate that it is just sitting right there in the shop reminding me that somehow ever so tangentially I’m associated with it just by being there and doing business on the platform. I also wonder if all the shops offering customization with any logo at all are wink wink encouraging you to use the one being homaged…perhaps I’m reading into it too much.

Okay, that does it. I'm getting one of these. If I could change one thing, I'd replace the end markings on the power reserve dial. "Down" and "Up" don't really fit to me. Just put a 0 and a 1, please. But the applied indices are so nice, and blue of the indices and hands... yep. Thanks for posting this!

Thanks JojX for the pictures - the single pass nato is what I’m after. With a 20mm, it doesn’t look too “squeezed”…I have plenty of 20mm so will give those a try first.

I’m very fond of dual-color lume, first discovered on the Steeldive Willard, though I know this opinion may not be shared universally.

A quick pic of my sale purchase. SN006 Wathdives version
Watch Analog watch Arm Clock Watch accessory

Going to replace this one:
Watch Hand Analog watch Arm Gesture

These particular pics highlight the new enamel dial (the normal SN006 isn’t quite as grey in most light, but the darker black enamel is nice).
I also prefer the hands, and bezel ticks.
One change I wasn’t expecting is that the normal one has a smoother 90-click bezel, whereas the Watchdives one a harsher 120-click bezel.

Gonna sell the normal version. And tbh as my collection currently stands, once some selling is done looks like I’ll have this newer one as my only AliX watch!
