Hi again all!

I ended up buying the 7040 from 1966 that i asked about in the previous thread. I would have posted pictures but my camera has recently broken. The crystal needs polishing and the case has a lot of superficial scratching. I am posting to ask that, if i get the case restored, would it have originally been all polished, all brushed finish or a mixture? Also, when i shake the watch, I feel a clunking as though the movement is loose - will this be an easy fix at the local seiko service centre?

Thanks in advance

There should be no movement inside the watch and no loose parts. It needs attention or the wearing of rubbing parts will produce metal and paint(from the dial edges) dust that will damage the workings of the movement.
